Split Pea Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Dried Split Peas
  • 8 oz Ham Steak chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 can Chicken Broth
  • 6 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 4 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Bouillon Cube
  • 6 C Water
  • ½ tsp of each: Mustard Seed, Black Pepper, Thyme

Instructions

  • Add first 8 ingredients through Water to pot.
  • Low Boil for 1 Hour, stirring occasionally to keep peas from sticking to the bottom.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Remove Bay leaves
  • Add Seasoning (Mustard Seed, Pepper and Thyme)
  • Blend with Inversion Blender.
