I am in the planting stages of constructing a 1/3 acre labyrinth in my back yard. The pathways are about 2 feet wide and will have 2 foot of bamboo in between all paths. I plan to transport wild bamboo from anywhere in Maryland and plant it in the labyrinth.
The path will be a mile to the center and a mile back out. The idea is to make it so anyone traveling to the center will reach relaxation and separation from the mundane by the time they enter the center. The path circles back, forward, in and out so that you don't know how far you have left to go. This will be open to anybody willing to follow a few rules:
